Serbian Anti Masonry Set:  this set was issued on 1st January, 1942, despite the fact that each stamp shows the date as ‘ 22.X.41’ , to mark an Anti-Mason Exhibition organised by a German sponsored Government during the Nazi occupation of Yugoslavia.  Each stamp has a surtax, the tax received being used for Anti-Masonic propaganda.
The  4 + 4 value shows the pillars ‘ B’ and ‘ J’ being destroyed by a Serbian Samson.
The  0.50 + 0.50 value shows a figure wearing a hood, a Masonic apron and the Star of David i.e. Masonry cringing from a strong ray of light which represents the forces of anti-masonry.
The 1 +1  value depicts the hand of Nazism emerging from a ray of light crushing a snake.  Biblically the snake represents  ‘The Forces of Evil’ i.e. Jewry and Freemasonry
The  2 + 2  value shows a cross and a sheaf of wheat - symbols of Freemasonry - are shown splitting a star upon which rest the hammer and sickle - another enemy of Nazism..

General Franco: under General Franco during the years following the Spanish Civil War Spain, Freemasonry was banned  On his death the ban was lifted and, with the Consecration of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Spain, on 6th November, 1982, light shone again on Spanish Freemasonry.

John Quincy Adams: the 6th President of the United States.  It would appear that during the run-up to the Presidential Election things were very quiet and, as there was nothing going on, he had no real issues to  ‘carry on’ about.  He therefore decided that it was time that the Masonic Order was dissolved, and during the next 10 or 15 years every Masonic Lodge was discontinued, many  being violated, burned and wrecked.
